Hello SW fans! After a loooong hiatus, I've decided to resume writing my quirky brand of intergalactic haiku. Stay tuned in the next few days for the latest additions, and as always, may the Force be with you!
The Zen Avenger is available for children's parties, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and weddings. When not writing Star Wars related haiku, he can be seen teaching online subversion to undergraduates at Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies.
A note about my interpretation of haiku:
Many of my friends and colleagues have noted that I tend to avoid the traditional rule of 5-7-5 (referring to the syllables used in each line). Basho, one of the revered masters of haiku, said "Learn the rules; and then forget them." Of course, one has to have some understanding of the rules before one can break them. I've been writing haiku (humorous and serious) for twenty-odd years, so I can say I know a few things about the subject.
